Having grown up in the family baking trade, I’ve yearned to recreate the taste of home here in San Francisco. Whether at the G watching footy and cricket or just at the local bakery, the humble meat pie is an absolute must. After a few years of trial and error, this is bloody close.

Freshly hand-ground beef chuck 90% meat/10% fat. Cooked in a beefy gravy (with secret herbs and spices) encased in flaky pastry. Voila! Childhood memories await.
